The Beginning of Friends In Film

Hey guys,

It’s been a while since I posted something on the blog and now I have a great series coming out for you to see.

A few weeks ago a friend of mine sent me a link to this website called Friends In Film, in which people can learn from working professionals within the film industry to make connections and have their big break from the inside. A clear example of this is actors, working on set as PA’s, assistant directors, assistant writer, etc. They work in the film set to get to meet directors and producers that can give them jobs, recommend to other producers or directors, or suggest to agents and casting directors.

That way by the time they get into the audition room they already have a ton of on set experience that will give them an edge in the competitive world of showbiz.

The leader of the program, Janet Urban, who has extensive experience in the film industry talks about her life and the strategies that she used to vector her way into the business and make a living out of it.She also is backed by a line up of great mentors who work a variety of other jobs on set to get into the profession or specialization that they want.

I highly recommend you check it out if you are an actor or an artist who wants to work in the film industry.
